Our company can trace its beginnings back to the early 1900’s and has since evolved considerably over the past century, from its humble beginnings of being a one-man local coal merchant delivering domestic coal on his “round” throughout the Black Country, to currently being one of the largest independent solid fuel merchant in the Midlands. We continue the age-old tradition of delivering loose smokeless fuel in the traditional open sacks. Our delivery team carry these 50kg sacks on their back before emptying the fuel into our customer’s bunkers or coal houses, just like in the good old days!
Here at Charlton Whitehouse Fuels, we stock a range of solid fuels and LPG products for the domestic and wholesale market. Our products include smokeless fuel, premium kiln-dried logs, propane and butane LPG, charcoal, steam-raising coal, coke beans (breeze), and paraffin. We understand that sourcing high-quality fuels is important to ensure the longevity of your appliances. Therefore, we only sell premium fuels that offer safe and superior performance. Unlike many other fuel sellers, we do not sell cheaply made, poor-quality fuels that burn inefficiently and may cause damage to your appliance and chimney. If the price of an unbranded or unapproved fuel seems like a great deal or too good to be true, it probably isn’t.
We also stock a range of accessories to complement our fuel products. We supply coal bunkers, LPG regulators, and can source replacement parts for open fires and multifuel stoves.

We offer a cash-and-carry service from our fuel depot on Parsonage Street, Oldbury, where customers can buy and take away any of our products. Alternatively, you can have a home delivery of fuel using our reliable delivery and stacking service. Our drivers will fill up your coal bunkers or stack your smokeless fuel bags in the place of your choosing.
Our fleet of delivery vehicles deliver fuel throughout the West Midlands, Worcestershire, Warwickshire, Staffordshire, Shropshire and North Gloucestershire. If you live outside of these areas, do not worry, as we can arrange delivery to most addresses throughout the United Kingdom using our national delivery partners. We offer a fast and reliable home delivery service for all of our fuels. Our delivery drivers will unload and neatly stack your prepacked smokeless fuel bags or netted logs in a convenient location of your choosing, whether that be in your back garden or garage. Your loose, open sack smokeless fuel delivery will be tipped into your bunker or coal shed for you, as part of our first-class home delivery service.
